After years of research, development and making custom fit trousers for many clients, Kate has mastered the art of making jeans that fit you just right. Taking the celebrated qualities of the Curve Jeans, we’ve developed the Catchment Jeans. They are a more relaxed fit with a bit more room in the waist, and a longer and wider leg.
The familiar curved panel forms an arched seam across the hips back and front that emphasises the billowed leg shape. This style has been finished with double topstitching that is mirrored in the trousers’ back pockets. This season’s iteration features two tones of denim with the back right panel defining the curved seam in indigo blue and subtle electric blue stitching accents.
Most of the jeans are made with a sturdy deadstock Helmut Lang denim in a charcoal tone and the accent is an indigo blue Japanese deadstock denim of similar weight. this style brings the durability of jeans but with an elevated twist. The base cloth is woven with rich midnight blue and white threads, forming a variegated textile with a dark wash. The irregular flecks of white throughout the deep midnight base is a detail that can be appreciated up close.
These pants feature internal waist adjusters with a buttonhole extension at the inside of the waistband to allow for a flexible fit throughout the lifespan of the garment. A heavy duty fly zip closure is featured at the centre front waist with a button fastening.
