Handkerchief Top - Camel/Chocolate Scrap Patchwork Cotton

The Handkerchief Top is a celebration of Kate’s textile-focused design process and playful manipulation of shapes. Derived from two simple squares of fabric and undulating lines of elastic, this top moulds to the body whilst simultaneously reacting against it toƒ create a unique silhouette.

This variation on the KATALYST favourite features a collection of chocolate, camel and white cottons, production offcuts that have been patched together to form this limited edition style. 

The camel, red  and white microplaid forms a fringe at the selvedge, a detail showcased at the armhole of the top. 

As a versatile, lightweight top it’s comfortable to wear in the summer or can be layered for cooler temperatures. It can be worn with either side at the front.

Made from short end deadstock fabric - only 16 available. Made in Meanjin (Brisbane).

The Handkerchief Top is best worn when the elastic can gather in and scrunch the fabric up, so you want to pick the size where the un-stretched measurement is closest to your bust measurement - if you’re sitting somewhere in the middle, go up a size.
