The Infinity Dress in Ink/Ginger begins as a boxy-fit t-shirt, and ends as a handkerchief-style dress, accented with asymmetrical seam lines that wrap around the body to create an unexpected yet flattering silhouette.
One of the most interesting features about this dress is the fact that it is zero waste. The skirt is made from the inverse or remaining fabric of the sleeve and neckline, and attached to a diagonal seam on the torso for a flattering fit, and to show off the multidirectional stripes.
Staying true to the design language of the KATALYST universe, the sleeve and the body of the dress become one, allowing for the stripes of the fabric to swoop down the sleeve diagonally, spiralling around the arm.
The breathable cotton jersey and elastane blend allows for ease of movement that feels both casual and formal at once.
Its asymmetric handkerchief hem falls along different parts of the leg, creating an organic flow which gathers and expands with each stride.
The ink/ginger cotton is accented with a 100% cotton tennis ball yellow trim which hugs the side seam, a staple of KATALYST’s design language.
